San Francisco:

The first leg of our tour took us to San Francisco. This is a city full of history and character. Our tour guides, Madeline and Carolyn, who both have lived in the area for many years, had a vast working knowledge of the history and stories about the city. Pictured are the Bay Area Bridge, recently decked out in 14,000 LED lights that will be on display for the next two years, one of the piers that in the past, received cargo from the visiting ships in port...Alcatraz prison(no one attempted to leave me there)...Fisherman’s Wharf with a ton of restaurants and stores...the only moving national monument in the USA, the cable cars(a bunch of us took a ride on our way to dinner in Chinatown)...and the world famous Golden Gate Bridge that is covered in fog most days. This is one amazing city.
