Brantford Police are investigating an arson fire that started with a stolen vehicle. Police say a pickup truck was stolen from a Ludlow Crescent garage at around five-thirty in the morning, yesterday (Monday.)

The truck was then parked in a carport at a home on Brock street and set ablaze. Firefighters say the truck and carport were fully engulfed in flames when they arrived on the scene. The carport was destroyed... so too were a pair of vehicles while two houses sustained some damage due to the heat from the intense blaze. Constable Derek Butler is hoping some information from the public will lead police to a suspect.
