The Long Point Region Conservation Authority has issued a flood warning for the shores of Lake Erie. According to the authority, winds with gust reaching 120 km/hr are expected to start tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon and will continue until Sunday morning. The winds could cause 3 metre high waves to strike the shore, causing more erosion and a storm surge could cause flooding along the shoreline in low lying areas. The flood advisory is in effect until 8 o'clock Monday morning. (bd)
