Two armed robberies Sunday may have been committed by the same man.
Around 7:00 Sunday morning a man waved a gun at the Petro-Canada truck stop on Hwy 77 at the 401, in Comber. The suspect demanded money and left with a quantity of cash.
Chatham-Kent police are also investigating a holdup at the Mac's Milk store in Wheatley, which happened about an hour earlier. In both cases, the suspect brandished a firearm. Police haven't said what type of gun was used, but they believe the two robberies are related.
Police are looking for a suspect who is white, about 5-feet-8-inches and 165 lbs. He had brown hair and pronounced brown eyebrows. At the time of the incident he was wearing a black winter jacket with brown fur at the collar and a grey ski mask. Police are also on the lookout for a newer model silver Jetta which they believe was involved.
