A Woodstock man who was mugged in front of his companion, can breathe a little easier

Just before 3 0'clock Sunday morning, two suspects approached the man and a woman who were walking on Dundas near Vansittart avenue.

One of the assailants drew a knife and punched the 50 year old victim, who fell to the ground.

His friend called 9-1-1.

Police combed the area but failed to find the assailants.

Members of the Criminal Investigations Branch identified the attackers and placed 20-year-old Justin Morris of Woodstock and 19-year-old Brodie Walsh of London under arrest.

They were charged with assault and threatening to cause bodily harm.
