Police are investigating after two people, one of them from Oxford County, were stabbed at a motel in Kemptville Thursday night.

A 37-year-old Woodstock man was taken to Ottawa Civic Hospital with a cut on his neck.

No information has been released on the other victim.

Police say a man arrested at the scene was released shortly afterwards and there are no suspects currently in custody.
