A new teaching tool touched down today at the London International Airport for Fanshawe aviation students.

The de Havilland Dash 7 has seen much lots of action in the past 30 years through 25,000 flights, including war zones in Afghanistan.

The Dash 7 was donated to the Norton Wolf School of Aviation by Trans Capital Ltd. It becomes the 19th aircraft and the second largest in the school's collection following the Boewing 727 that was donated in 2015.

The plane will be used by 240 avionics and maintenance students who take them apart to replace and refurbish parts for classroom exercises.
