A London police officer sustained minor injuries after he was dragged by a vehicle trying to get away.

Shortly after midnight, Middlesex OPP stopped a vehicle for going the wrong way on Exeter Road on the 401. The vehicle was directed to a nearby hotel parking lot for further investigation.

Police learned that the vehicle was stolen. The driver refused to follow instruction and turn off the vehicle, where he eventually reversed to pull away, dragging the officer by the vehicle.

Police are currently looking for a 2014 grey Ford Edge SUV. Occupants in the vehicle include three black males, one with a heavily tattooed left arm and the other with a smaller build and a diamond like earring. A black female was also in the vehicle, said to have bleached blonde hair and wearing a pink tank top. If anyone has any information on the incident, contact police right away.
