A drug seizure in Sault Ste. Marie has prompted a warning that drugs in the city could contain a variety of the deadly opioid

fentanyl.

Police say Health Canada found cyclopropyl fentanyl in drugs sent to the agency following a large seizure.

They say all illicit drugs -- including heroin, cocaine and fentanyl -- should be considered to contain cyclopropyl fentanyl.

Cyclopropyl fentanyl is a fentanyl analogue, but officials say it's not known how people will react to the drug because it isn't

intended for human or veterinary use.
