Norfolk County OPP continue to investigate after major damage was done to an elementary school in Waterford, just before classes resumed.  Police were notified of a break and enter at St. Bernard of Clarivaux School on August 31st.  The investigation determined the unknown suspects broke in through glass doors. Once inside a number of class rooms were entered, desks, bookshelves, trophies and a large quantity of electronics were damaged. The culprits tried to rip a sink from the wall in a bathroom. That ended up flooding a part of the building. Damage was also reported in the principles office, the staff room and the kitchen. Damage is estimated at $10,000. Police say investigators are analyzing video surveillance and are asking anyone with information to step forward.
