The Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change is monitoring air and water quality in Cambridge after a fire at a vacant factory in Hespeler.  Crews remain on the scene this morning, investigating the cause of the massive blaze which broke out yesterday afternoon.  Residents were told to close their doors and windows and stay inside as thick black smoke blanketed the area. The smoke could be smelled as far away as Guelph where city officials there are also keeping an eye on the air quality. No injuries were reported.
