The annual Thames River clean up is set to take place this morning in London.

An army of volunteers will help to de-clutter around and in the river. The owner of 'Friends of the Thames', now in it's 19th year, is hoping to get 2,000 volunteers out for the cause.

Mitchell and Stratford was forced to postpone their clean up until next weekend due to wet weather that hit the region last weekend. Sunny skies and an expected temperature of 10 degrees will smile down on volunteers today. And on Sunday, family friendly nature activities will take place at St. Julien park to celebrate Earth Day.
