Closing arguments in a dramatic murder trial in Kingston, Ontario have been thrown off course by an apparent bomb threat.

The Shafia family murder trial was put on hold and the courthouse cleared this morning after what police are calling a “security concern.”

But a source tells The Canadian Press there was a bomb threat.

Mohammad Shafia, his wife Tooba Yahya and their son Hamed are accused of killing the family's three teenage girls and Shafia's first wife.
