The director of such Hollywood blockbusters as “Top Gun,” “Days of Thunder” and “Beverly Hills Cop 2” is dead.

Police say Tony Scott jumped off a bridge in Los Angeles County on Sunday.

The county coroner's office says it's investigating the 68 year old Scott's death as a suicide.

A suicide note was found.
