A second Stanley Cup title in three years is four wins away from reality for the Boston Bruins. Adam McQuaid scored and Tuukka Rask made 26 saves as Boston shut out Pittsburgh 1-0. The victory swept the Penguins out of the Eastern Conference final. The Bruins last won the Cup in 2011

Intercounty Baseball League:
Brantford 3 Kitchener 2
The Brantford Red Sox opened the scoring with three runs in the bottom of the fifth, and fought off a late Kitchener comeback to down the Panthers 3-2 last night at Arnold Anderson Stadium in Brantford. Starter Brandon Huffman had a great outing and earned the win, allowing just four hits and one earned run with five walks and four strikeouts over 7 2/3 innings. Stefan Strecker earned the save, allowing one hit before registering the final out. Maybe even more impressive was the fact that Brantford managed to win the game while registering just one single hit in the game, a three run homer by Steve Lewis in the fifth inning, scoring Todd Betts and Tyler Patzalek. Starter Matt Robertson pitched a complete game eight innings and took the loss, giving up just one hit and three earned runs while walking four and striking out an impressive ten batters faced.
London 2 Toronto 0
Jordan Townshend pitched a complete game five-hitter as the London Majors blanked the struggling Toronto Maple Leafs 2-0 at Labatt Park, just hours after the Leafs re-acquired slugger Jon Waltenbury from the Barrie Baycats for infielder Jordan Castaldo and veteran pitcher Brett Lawson. Toronto (4-8) has now lost six straight games while London (8-4) took advantage of two Toronto errors to score the lone two runs of the game in the bottom of the eighth inning, handing the Leafs yet another tough loss.  Starter Marek Deska tossed six shutout innings, allowing just three hits with seven strikeouts and one walk. Reliever Adam Garner was charged with the two runs in the eighth on two hits with one strikeout and one walk to take the loss.
